Car Crashes Through Hair Razor's Salon in Clawson Saturday

Clawson Police were called to Hair Razor's Salon early Saturday morning around 10 a.m.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found that a car had gone through the building. While no injuries were reported, extensive damage was done to the salon, located at 469 W. 14 Mile Road.
The 81-year-old female driver had attempted to park her car, accidentally accelerating rather than braking. The mistake caused the woman’s car to jump the parking block and enter the building.
The driver was not cited but referred to the Secretary of State's Office for an evaluation.

Older people on meds are as dangerous as a drunken driver. I'm near 70 but I would submit to a yearly driving exam at age 75 if it would make our roads safer. You can continue driving-if you are mentally and physically able to do so. Perhaps a few of our recent immigrants can take the same test.
