Former Clawson School Board Member Appointed to Vacant Seat
Linda Grossmann fills seat vacated by Brad Batur.
Clawson resident Linda Grossmann was appointed Monday night to fill a vacancy on the school board after the elected member abruptly resigned.
The term ends Dec. 31, 2014.
Grossmann previously served a four-year stint on the board from 1997 to 2000.
She fills the seat intended for Brad Batur, who was elected in November. He resigned earlier this month, saying he was unable to fufill the duties of the position. Monday would have been his first meeting.
Newcomber Kevin Sheridan began his four-year term Monday.
He and Grossmann fill seats previoiusly held by Trustee Mike Bosnic and Vice President Joe Bedford.
