Meetings
- The Clawson City Planning Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
Elections
- On Tuesday, Clawson voters will head to the polls for the presidential primary election and the nonpartisan local election, in which the city is asking for a 4.2-mill tax increase. There are precincts at Kenwood School, City Hall, Hunter Community Center, Clawson High School, Baker Administration Building and Schalm School. If you're not sure where you are assigned to vote, check your voter identification card or check the precinct map on the city's website. Events
- At 6 p.m. Thursday, Leon & Lulu will host an AIDS Walk Detroit Kickoff Reception. The event will mark the beginning of this year's push to provide financial support for programs in HIV prevention, education, and services, the store says. Ten percent of Leon & Lulu sales during the event will benefit AIDS Walk Detroit. Appetizers will be served.

- Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to work 25 hours a week. Applicant should present an inviting/welcoming disposition and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Quickbooks preferred.
