Last Chance: Get Your Mother's Day Flowers

With Mother's Day just three days away, flower shops all over are preparing bouquets and arrangements, including Clawson's .

Floribunda owner Yolanda Bieszczad said she encourages customers to place their orders in advance, especially if they want flowers delivered to the mom in their life. 

Bieszczad said the store will be making most of its deliveries on Saturday because a lot of moms are out to church, brunch or dinner on Sunday. However, the shop will be open on Mother's Day for those who would like to purchase flowers out the store on the holiday.

If you'd like flowers delivered Saturday or Sunday, you should place your order by Saturday morning and confirm that the recipient will be home, Bieszczad said. Floribunda does not leave flowers sitting at doorsteps. The flower shop makes deliveries to Clawson, Troy and Royal Oak.

The most popular Mother's Day flowers are lilies, daisies, tulips, roses, carnations and outdoor blooming planters, Bieszczad said. Smaller flower arrangements cost between $10-$25 while larger bouquets may cost up to $70.
