The Junior Trojan Basketball Summer Camp for area students ended Friday after a weeklong program. The camp had 125 student participants this year in grades 1-9. The camp, which is in its fourth year, is directed by Clawson varsity basketball coaches Bill Shellenbarger and Kelly Horne with high school athletes also volunteering.
It is "a wonderful community-oriented program designed to promote sportsmanship and the love of basketball," said parent Kris LaMotte in an email to the Clawson Patch.
The regular Junior Trojan Basketball season will return at the end of 2012.
