PHOTOS: Clawson Goes Wild Over Clooney, Gosling
Hundreds turn out to catch a glimpse of the movie star and director in town to shoot his new film, 'The Ides of March.'
"Is that him?", "Oh, here he comes." "George! George!," the crowds shouted as soon as they caught sight of movie star George Clooney as he walked down 14 Mile Road in Clawson on Friday, headed toward Nick's Country Oven to shoot his new movie, "The Ides of March."
During the day Friday, hundreds of people – all seemingly carrying some type of camera, be it long lens or on their phones – came and went hoping for a star sighting. Most were not disappointed.
Trailers of equipment and for the actors and crew packed nearby parking lots and side streets while Clawson police officers helped control traffic and crowds.
All day, the curious asked each other: "Have you seen him yet?"
Oh yeah, actors Ryan Gosling and Evan Rachel Wood were there, too.
