Nick's Country Oven received the most poll votes along with several votes on the Clawson Patch Facebook Page for the best family-friendly restaurant in town.
The restaurant on 14 Mile Road opened its doors to the public in October 2010 and gained recognition in March 2011 when crews filmed scenes of George Clooney's Ides of March there.
Nick’s offers an array of menu items from steak to pancakes to fish. All entrees come with a dinner salad, soup and dessert at an affordable price.
“The service is good and they have a large variety of stuff,” Candy Norman told Clawson Patch last year. “It’s just like home cooking, and prices are decent.”

Because our poll was not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. Winners are determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, write-ins and reviews on Patch Places.
Patch has an extensive directory of local businesses and we want all of our readers to benefit from your experience the way your neighbors do. Even if you missed the chance to vote, you can write a review for your favorite places anytime.
