Resident Reports Home Invasion; Car Windows Broken

The following information was supplied by the Clawson police department.

A resident on the 800 block of Key West Drive told police she believes someone entered her home on Friday morning and attempted to steal several items.

A police report said the woman left her house around 9 a.m. and the housekeeper arrived about 10 minutes later to find a pillowcase containing change from a jar on the bedroom dresser and jewelry. The resident said when she returned that afternoon, she discovered the window in her daughter's bedroom was open with the screen popped out. The police report said the window was likely unlocked and the back door to her house was open. The door had no signs of forced entry.

The woman told police nothing was missing from the home and the housekeeper likely scared the intruder away. The resident does not believe the housekeeper is a suspect.
