Peteet's Famous Cheesecakes Partners with The Pink Fund During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Peteet’s Famous Cheesecakes is partnering with The Pink Fund during the month of October to help women who have been affected by breast cancer. Through the partnership, Peteet’s will donate 20% of every pink cheesecake and pink cheesecake push pop purchase to the Metro Detroit based charity, which provides individuals in active breast cancer treatment with up to 90 days of financial assistance to cover non-medical expenses.

“Breast cancer is a disease that has personally affected me, as I have family members who are survivors, including my mother and aunt,” said Patrick Peteet, owner and founder of Peteet’s Famous Cheesecakes. “Everyone at Peteet’s wanted to do something during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to help these women, and we couldn’t think of a better way to do so than to partner with The Pink Fund. It’s a great organization and we are truly honored to support their cause through this partnership.”

“Everyone is aware of breast cancer. What they aren’t aware of is that while fighting for their lives, many breast cancer patients in active treatment lose their livelihoods. Unable to work, patients often face catastrophic financial losses” said Molly MacDonald, founder and CEO, The Pink Fund. “We are grateful for the partnership with Peteet’s Famous Cheesecakes during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, not only for their amazing pink strawberry cheesecake, but for their heart for helping others.”
