5 Things to Know This Week: Concert in the Park and More

Here's the scoop on what's happening in Clawson for the week of Jun. 23.

Monday, 1 to 7 p.m.: American Red Cross Blood Drive. Call City Hall to schedule a time to donate blood. The American Red Cross and all of us in Clawson thank you! Visit redcrossblood.org.

Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Larry Auger Memorial Golf Outing. Fundraiser for Clawson Schools and Clawson Chamber of Commerce at Twin Lakes Golf and Swim Club.

Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.: Ice Cream Social and Concert in the Park.
The Lions Club sponsors the Ice Cream.  The Parks and Rec Dept. sponsors the band at Clawson City Park.

Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Kiddie Parade and Coney Day at the Park. The Kiddie Parade, sponsored by the Jr. Women's Club begins at 11 a.m. at Clawson Middle School and travels to the park.  Buy a hot dog lunch from the Optimist Club once at the park!  Kids games, sponsored by Parks and Rec begins at 11:30 a.m. at the park.

Sunday, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.: Freedom Run 5K. 4th of July Freedom Run. See clawsonruns.com for more information.
