Clawson Ranked as 7th 'Most Affordable' Town by CNN Money

Clawson recently ranked among the top towns in the country for affordability.

CNN Money recently published a list ranking towns across the United States that had homes that are the most affordable.

Clawson made the list at No. 7 for residents who live in 25 growing towns and have their incomes go the furthest, according to a post on the city's web site.

"Detroit may be struggling, but this small northern suburb has been sprucing itself up lately," the CNN article states, pointing out improvements such as landscaping and bike racks. "All the better to catch the eye of residents in this highly walkable town: Parks, schools, recreation programs and a library are all within an easy stroll of any house in Clawson."
