There is a garage sale Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at 358 S. Bywood Ave. Items for sale include antique dressers, toys, bikes, Precious Moments, an antique Jenny Lind bed frame, fishing equipment and a boat.

Pug Picnic

On Saturday, the 7th Annual Charity Pug Picnic is from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at City Park. There will be hundreds of pugs with their owners, raffles, games and vendors. AFSCME Bowl for Education Fundraiser

The Benevolent Association of AFSCME Local 574 will host a bowling fundraiser beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday at Astro Lanes, 32388 John R Rd. in Madison Heights. Proceeds from the event will fund the scholarship the association awards to graduating high school seniors. You can preregister for $20 per bowler or pay $25 at the door. Entry fee includes three games of bowling, shoes, pizza and first-game mystery. There will also be a cash bar, prizes and raffles.

Graduation Ceremony
