Viewfinder: Perfect Day for Annual Fourth of July Parade

Clear skies and a bright sun greeted thousands of people who packed the streets this morning for the Clawson Fourth of July Parade.

The 2011 Clawson Fourth of July parade marched through the streets in beautiful weather as thousands of spectators looked on.

People turned out in droves, lining 14 Mile, Main Street and Elmwood, cheering on friends, family, politicians, sports teams, local businesses and everyone else as they passed by in the parade.

From classic cars to a female Uncle Sam on stilts to a Back to the Future float, this year's parade was quite the success.
