Gin Blossoms and Romantics Rock the Eve

Come to Downtown Royal Oak tonight for a free outdoor concert featuring the Gin Blossoms and The Romantics!  Rockin' the Eve 2011 will begin with The Wall Clocks who were 96.3 Battle of Bands Winners.  At 10 pm, The Romantics will take the stage and at 11 pm the Gin Blossoms will take the stage.  At midnight, Royal Oak's version of the ball drop will occur.  The ball will be dropped from 100' high.  It has 288 lights, is six feet tall, and weighs 1,000 pounds.  The Gin Blossoms will then take the stage again. A cool way to ring in the New Year - for free!
