Come to the Troy Historic Village for trick-or-treating around the buildings. The Halloween party also includes music, dancing, storytelling, and treats. The event will also have a discussion about bats from the Organization for Bat Conservation. Feel free to make your costumes out of recyclables - part of being green. At 2 p.m. there will be a costume contest for the best homemade costume. If you bring a slightly used or new book to donate children are free. Youngsters will be given mini-pumpkins from the Troy Garden Club as long as supplies last. Free cider and pretzels are part of the event.
