Clawson Schools Winter Concerts

Clawson Public Schools announces a series of upcoming Winter Concerts. The concerts will be held in the Clawson High School Auditorium and the community is invited to attend.

·        Tuesday, December 10, 7 p.m. – Winter Choir Concert (grades 6-12)

·        Tuesday, December 17, 7 p.m. – Clawson High School Winter Jam        Open Band Concert

·        Wednesday, December 18, 7 p.m. - String Orchestra Concert (grades 7-12)

At the December 10th Choir concert each choir will sing three selections, including Java Jive, Lo How a Rose E’Er Bloomin, Twas the Night Before Christmas, Ave Verum Corpus and A Festive Alleluia. Admission is $3.

At the December 17th Winter Jam Open Band Concert, members of the community are invited to bring their band instruments and play along with the high school band. Admission is a food donation.

The December 18th String Orchestra Concert will feature:

·        Chanukah music for strings performed by the High School

·        St. Nick’s Canon on the Housetop performed by the 7th grade

·        Good King Wenceslas performed by the 8th grade

·        First Scale March performed by the 6th grade.

Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students.
