A Night on the Town: Open Mic Monday at Black Lotus
Black Lotus has become the Monday night destination for professional and novice musicians alike.
Guitarists, drummers, tamborine players and vocalists rocked the house Monday at the for their weekly . The downtown Clawson brewery has invited local and regional artists to perform since it opened in 2006.
We want to "create a place where musicians can get out of their living rooms and onto a stage with an audience," Black Lotus Owner Mark Harper said in October.
Open Mic Night starts at 9 p.m. every Monday. Musicians are required to bring an instrument and sign up for the performance list. Check out photos from this week's Open Mic Night.
