Metro Sports Bids Farewell from Clawson with Final Sale

What would you like to see in its place?

A mainstay in the area since 1980, management at Metro Sports of Michigan are holding an out-of-business sale. Management said Tuesday that customers are being told the store will remain open for a "few more weeks" as an attempt to find a lessee.

The store, which offers gear for hockey and lacrosse players, and is dotted throughout its interior with autographs from past professionals with ties to the Detroit area, slashed prices on general merchandise by 25 percent. Signage indicates that the 3,630 square foot building is being marketed for lease by Colliers International.
