Summer cupcake flavors in Royal Oak: Orange creamsicle, s'more and key lime pie are three of the favorite cupcake flavors for summer visitors at Just Baked in Royal Oak. "All the summer flavors are really popular right now," said Stephanie Stencel, manager of the cupcake specialty store on Woodward. "It goes with the season."
Vegan frozen yogurt in Ferndale: Easy Like Sundae, a frozen yogurt shop that opened last year in downtown Ferndale, recently introduced a new caramel vegan flavor to its menu, according to a recent Facebook post. Its other current flavors are Chocolate, Vanilla, No Sugar Added Hazelnut, Red Velvet Cake, Cherry Jubilee, Grape, Vegan/Non-Dairy Vanilla, Key Lime Pie and Original Tart.

Extra cupcakes in Rochester: After The Village of Rochester Hills had to cancel a movie night last week due to rain, Heather Tocco of Gracie Moonpie & Company was left with 200 Madagascar 3-themed mini cupcakes. She offered them to the Rochester Community House Community Kitchen, which offers support to local families and individuals in need through its Community Kitchen and Sunday Community Kitchen Dinners.
