Here's What You Said You Want to Take the Clawson Blockbuster Space

Clawson Patch readers suggested 'a really good deli' or a 'really big Redbox' move into the soon-to-be-closed Blockbuster on 14 Mile Road.

Clawson residents and Patch readers offered insight and articulate opinions all day when we asked what they would like to see at a local commercial vacancy.

With the Dish Network announcing plans to close the Clawson Blockbuster recently, the Clawson Shopping Center has a new hole to fill.

Staff at Blockbuster (1255 W. 14 Mile Rd., Clawson) say that they now expect the store closed April 21.

Be A good time to do a REDO of the whole Clawson Center, it is a dinosaur, What ever formula the City Fathers used to figure parking spaces to square footage of store space, was antiquated, never more so then this sea of asphalt . Be nice to see the buildings moved or a few smaller buildings built closer to 14 mile to make the center more inviting to entice passer byes to come in...... like the out buildings at the Troy Target and Home Depot cent, all that area behind the Claw Cent. is basically wasted. (a sleeping spot for ?? that don't want to be seen. ..... there was a rumor...... — Mich Neerd (Via Facebook)
