1. AIDS Walk Detroit Kickoff Reception

It's not too early to start your weekend! At 6 p.m. Thursday, Leon & Lulu will host an AIDS Walk Detroit Kickoff Reception. The event will mark the beginning of this year's push to provide financial support for programs in HIV prevention, education, and services, the store says. Ten percent of Leon & Lulu sales during the event will benefit AIDS Walk Detroit. Appetizers will be served.

2. Mom 2 Mom Sale

From 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday there will be a Mom 2 Mom Sale at . Admission is $2 or $1 for those who come before 8:30 a.m. The Royal Oak Hockey Association Moms Club is hosting the sale.

3. Spring Artists' Market 

will host its Spring Artists' Market on Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Artists will have wall art, jewelry, home accessories, and fiber art, among other creations on display at this event. Admission in free. There will be entertainment and refreshments served.

4. Fish Fry

will host a Fish Fry from 4:30-7:30 p.m Friday. The menu includes baked and fried fish, crab cakes, rolls, coleslaw, vegetables, macaroni and cheese, French fries and baked potatoes. Desserts and drinks are also included. The price is $8 for adults, $4.50 for children 12 and younger and $7.50 for seniors.

5. Karaoke Night

Test your singing skills Friday and Saturday nights at with some of the best karaoke in town. The fun begins at 8 p.m. and there is no cover charge.
