Congratulations to Clawson's Varsity Soccer Team

Clawson Varsity Soccer is having an outstanding season. Their league standing is 7-0-1 and overall 11-1-1.

Congratulations to Clawson’s varsity soccer team for having an outstanding regular season for their division.  Recently, they were invited to The Williamston Invitational where 8 out of 10 top teams in their division participated.  They won two games and were defeated in the championship game by Country Day.  Their league standing is 7-0-1 and overall 11-1-1.

Jared Kullman is in his fourth season coaching the boy’s varsity team.  He has been with Clawson a total of six years, which included coaching girl’s soccer.   His priorities for his players are to do well in school, come together as a team and build a positive reputation for the school.  He says that the success of his team has been built over the years and his players work hard at practice and during the off season.  He went on to say that they are continually doing better and his players have a strong work ethic.  Kullman is also a social studies teacher at Clawson High School.

Clawson’s goalie, Alex Maison who is a senior this year, also says the team has improved due to lots of hard work at practice.  Saying that his teammates are dedicated and have good chemistry together.  Before a game they listen to upbeat music to warm up and keep a positive attitude on and off the field.  He says that Coach Kullman knows the game and connects well with his team.  His priorities are to do well in school and work hard at soccer.  Maison plans on attending college after graduation.

Please come and support our Clawson Varsity Soccer Team.  Keep up the hard work boys.  The schedule is as follows:

Oct. 1   AWAY vs. Marysville
Oct. 3   HOME vs Roseville
Oct. 8   AWAY vs Warren Woods Tower
Oct. 11 HOME vs St Clair HS
Oct. 15 TBD

I also notice that other patch sites out side of this area still look good (old). Can we just goRead More back since I don't hear ANY good feedback.

Personally, I'm enjoying that I can blog and post announcements on here free of charge. When IRead More called months ago, the young man I spoke with told me I'd have to pay a small fortune to place a business ad.

I don't blog, so the fact that it is free is irrelevant to me, but great for those who do blog.Read More However, I have to agree with the majority. The new site is very unappealing visually and much less user-friendy. Are all the "Patch" news run by the same people? I would like our to have more individuality to it and be easier to use.
