5 Things to Know This Week: Lunch with Santa, Little Shop of Horrors Musical, Clawson Youth Assistance Program

Here's the scoop on what's happening in Clawson for the week of Dec. 3.

1. Clawson's annual tree lighting ceremony is set to take place Monday at 6:30 p.m. outside of Blair Memorial Library. Hot chocolate will be served at Clawson Middle School afterward.

2. Clawson Youth Assistance will host the "Talk Early and Talk Often" workshop on Dec. 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Clawson Middle School. The program will provide parents with tools for discussing sexuality with their children. Call 248-655-4401 to register for this free program.

3. The Clawson City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, located at 425 N. Main Street.

4. Clawson Performing Arts will present the musical "Little Shop of Horrors" this weekend. Performances will take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Clawson High School. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students.

5. The annual 'Lunch with Santa' event is happening Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hunter Community Center. Tickets are just $5. Pre-registration is required. Call 248-435-2739 to reserve your spot.
