5 Things You Should Know: Swimming, Blood Drive, Free Photos and More

We're looping you in on what's happening in Clawson this week.

1. There will be a varsity swim meet at at 6 p.m. Tuesday against Warren Mott High School. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students. The varsity wrestling team will have a meet at home on Thursday against Lakeview High School. The meet begins at 5 p.m.

2. The Clawson City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at . Coffee with the council begins at 7 p.m. 

3. Superintendent Cheryl Rogers will host a district coffee meeting for parents and members of the community at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the . One of the discussion topics will be cut score changes on the MEAP test. You may RSVP by calling Linda Gould at 248-655-4411.

4. will host a blood drive from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday. The PTA is sponsoring the blood drive. For more information email Lynette.rizk@beaumont.edu.

5. West Park Photography in Clawson will offer free mini photo sessions on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day. There's no purchase necessary, but participants must sign a model release allowing the studio to use your child's image in its promotional materials and portfolio. All participants will get a complimentary 5x7 print and the chance to win $500 in prizes.
