Get Out: Benefit Concert, Garage Sale, Flower Day and More

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Clawson Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and events to attend in the area:

1. JTX Benefit Concert

Where/when: 7:30 p.m. Friday at

Why go: National singing group JTX will perform a concert for the public with proceeds going to the Performing Arts Boosters. 

Price: $10 per ticket in advance or at the door.

2. Trojans Varsity Baseball Game

Where/when: 4:30 p.m. Friday, City Park

Why go: Cheer on the Clawson varsity baseball team in a game against Mt. Clemens High School. 

3.  Lions Club Garage Sale

Where/when: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Saturday at 349 N. Webik Ave.

Why go: There are no price tags on the items, buyers can negotiate a price with the Lions Club members. All proceeds will fund operation costs for the group.

4. Farmers Market Flower Day

Where/when: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday at City Park

Why go: Vendors from all over the area will have flower assortments and some produce available on this special day.

5. Brit Chic Bar Boutique 

Where/when: noon-5 p.m. Sunday at

Why go: Spend a Sunday afternoon drinking local brews at Black Lotus and shopping local fashion vendors including Think This, Designer Resale Boutique, Mio Dio Collection and Albino Dino. The event has free entry.
