1. Jimmy Marvin "Spring Into Life" Benefit
Where/when: U.F.C.W. Hall, 876 Horace Brown Dr, Madison Heights from 5:30 p.m.- 1 a.m. Saturday

Why go: The annual event and scholarship honors James "Jimmy" Marvin, a 19-year-old Clawson resident who died of cancer Jan. 31, 2004. The cost is $25 per person and includes food, refreshments, live music, silent auction, raffles, party wagon and a game of Deal or No Deal.

Where/when: on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
Why go: The students of Clawson High School and Clawson Middle School will be performing Seussical the Musical tonight. Children of all ages can enjoy the references to the Dr. Seuss beloved stories.
Price: Adults $7, students $5
3. Fish Fry
Where/when: from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday
Why go: The Knights of Columbus is having an all-you-can-eat fish fry on Friday. Included in your dinner are both baked and fried fish, crab cakes, mac and cheese, baked or fried potatoes, rolls, vegetables, dessert and a beverage.
Price: $8 adults, $7.50 seniors, $4.50 children
Where/when: March 25-April 2 at restaurants of Royal Oak
Why go: This nine day celebration offers you a special discounted rate, $15 for lunch or $25 for dinner, on a special three-course menu. There will be 20 restaurants participating.
Where/when: , 316 E. 11 Mile Rd.
Why go: The Royal Oak Farmers Market presents Lettuce Rock!. The night offers live musicians including: The Candy Band, The Polish Muslims, 4 Rhythm, and others. There will also be a silent auction, local food, beer and wine, and tons of activities for the kids including face painting, scavenger hunts, and crafts.
