Get Ready for Snowy Commutes To End the Week

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch beginning Thursday evening and lasting into Friday morning that includes Clawson.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for parts of southeast Michigan, including Oakland County, beginning Thursday evening and lasting into Friday morning. Up to 4 inches of snow could fall Thursday night, with up to 3 more inches possible Friday morning, the forecasting agency warns.

"Visibilities under one-quarter mile will be possible Thursday night," the NWS says. "Roads may become snow-covered and slippery, affecting the morning commute on Friday."

The high Thursday is expected to be 32 degrees, with a low of 31; Friday, the high is expected to be 32, with a low of 11 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
