Last Chance: Clawson Farmers' Market Closes Season Out on Sunday

September 30 will end the 2012 Farmers' Market run.

If you have not had the opportunity to stop by the Clawson Farmers' Market yet this year, Sunday is your last chance!

All the fruits, vegetables, baked goods and more will be gone until the 2013 season next summer, wrapping up shop at City Park.

But have no fear, the Farmers' Market will go out with a celebration.

One free roasted ear of corn will be given away to all market-goers as the city's way of saying thanks for another great season.

At 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sola Fitness of the Beaumont Nutritional Department will offer cooking demonstrations on how to prepare healthy lunches for your children this school year.

Lastly, with the holidays coming up, keep in mind those less fortunate as the Clawson Food Bank will have boxes on hand to collection donations of canned food and more.

We hope you have enjoyed the Farmers' Market as much as we have and we're sad to see it go, but there is always another year to look forward to!

Until next time.
