Moms Talk: Discussing Elections with the Kids

How do you talk to your kids about the right to vote?

With the elections still fresh on our minds, we're curious this week as to how you, as parents, talk to your kids about the elections.

Do you talk about the issues at hand or will you save the subject for later years as your children grow closer to the legal voting age?

If you do talk about the elections, how do you address it? Do you let your children learn about the candidates, or maybe watch the results?

Lastly, how do you explain differing opinions of who to vote for in your household (if applicable)?
