Moms Talk: What Do You Think of the School Technology Bond?

Tell us your thoughts about Clawson Schools asking voters for a $1.3-mill technology bond in the May election.

Elections are coming up May 3, and for Clawson residents, there is a lot to consider with the and on the ballot.

The Clawson School Board voted in February to ask voters for a $1.3-mill technology bond that would fund the purchase of new computers, smart boards, clickers and other updated technology for students. Officials say a lot of the technology in Clawson Schools is 10 years old and won't run a lot of computer programs that will benefit students when they move on to college and the workforce.

With this said, we want to hear from parents about what they think of the technology proposal. Do you think the schools need newer technology to enhance the education of students? As a parent, do you think your child could benefit from new technology in the classroom? Tell us in the comments.
