Photos: Newly Remodeled Home Now on the Market in Clawson

The market price for this home located at 1066 W. Selfridge is $200,000.

A Davison, MI-based home renovation company has given a full makeover to a house on West Selfridge Boulevard in Clawson.

On Friday, the house officially went on the market and Five Lakes Regional Home Services and Re/Max in the Hills invited the public to tour the house.

The 1,315 square feet house, located at 1066 W. Selfridge, is on the market for $200,000. Contractors from Five Lakes spent six weeks completely remodeling the house. Paul Beam, president of Five Lakes, said it's the fourth house in Clawson they have renovated.

The house has new tiling, refinished floors, new light fixtures, new windows, new plumbing and a completely remodeled upstairs bathroom. The kitchen was also remodeled and now has all stainless steal appliances. Beam said contractors refinished the exterior of the house and added a backyard deck.

"It's a lot of work," Beam said during the open house Friday. "We take houses that are run down... and we turn them into this."

Gerald Maliszewski, of Re/Max, said the previous homes sold within four days of going on the market. He said Beam's work usually sparks a lot of interest in the community.

There will be another open house from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. For more information contact Gerald Maliszewski at 248-396-9474.
