Viewfinder: Youth Soccer Game, Choir Concert and Fun in the Sun

Photos from around town this week.

With floods in the headlines, tornadoes on the news and storms in every direction in recent days, this week has offered a nice break  with some clear skies and beach heat.

Clawsonites enjoyed the weather playing a game of volleyball with some friends at one of the sandy volleyball courts at Clawson City Park. A mother and her little boy took advantage of the opportunity to use the playground at City Park.

The Clawson Youth Soccer U-7 "Soccerroos" had a match at Realtor Park in Royal Oak against the Royal Oak Soccer Association U-7 "Blue Jays" on Wednesday evening.

Clawson schools hosted the Spring Choir Concert on Wednesday. The sixth grade chorus, seventh and eighth grade concert choir and the Clawson Chorale performed in front of family, friends and supporters in  the auditorium. This year's choir seniors are Tiffany Chamberlain, Toria Smith and Brianna Taylor.
