What's for Easter Brunch? Patch Blogger Has Two Slow-Cooking Ideas

Hope Comerford suggests Cinnamon French Toast and Tater Tot Casserole; here are the recipes.

If you're set on staying home on Easter Sunday, here are two ideas for easy brunch entrees from Hope Comerford, Patch blogger and author of A Busy Mom's Slow-Cooker Adventures.

Cinnamon French Toast Casserole

This one takes six to eight hours to cook and uses cinnamon bread, brown sugar and eggs to make a sweet brunch treat. "You can personalize this by having different toppings to go on it: whipped cream, strawberry sauce, blueberry sauce, syrup, fresh fruit ... endless possibilities!" Comerford writes.

Cheesy Ranch Tot Bake

This is one of Comerford's most popular recipes and it features cheese, sausage and tater tots. You can cook this one on high for four to six hours. "It's really simple to put together and is packed with deliciousness," Comerford says. Read the recipe and see the photos here.
