Canterbury Village presents Michigan Brewers Oktoberfest, a Celebration of Craft Beers

Over the last few years, Michigan has been experiencing an increase of
craft beer producers.  Hopheads and craft beer novices have the chance
to sample from a selection of over 100 different craft beers and ciders,
as well as special edition beers from breweries. Many brewers will be
on site to answer questions and give demonstrations. At approximately 1:30 p.m. Rochester Mills Brewery will have a ceremonial keg tapping of a special Oktoberfest beer.  97.1 The Ticket’s Scott “The Gator” Anderson  will be on-site to assist with the keg tapping.
Discount tickets are available at Kroger for $30. Tickets are available online at www.cbsdetroit.com
for $35. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $40. Must be 21
years of age or older with legal ID and event ticket for admission.
Admission includes drink tickets and a food coupon for food samples in
the Kroger tent. Designated Driver tickets are available for $10 online
or at the Gate. Canterbury
Village will also host an Oktoberfest featuring German music in their
Pub, and a Kids Zone. Separate admission is required for the
Oktoberfest. CBS RADIO Detroit will provide music for guests
with DJ Kenny Valentino in the Village. The radio stations will also
have tents on-site with interactive games for guests. Hash tag for

on-site.  Attendees will receive a food sample of ribs, cole slaw and a
dinner roll in the Kroger tent. ACO Home, Garden and Hardware will
showcase a variety of Michigan-made products which will be available for
sale including Detroit spices, T-shirts, pretzels and spices. ACO will
also host the finals of a chili cook-off with contestants who were
previously selected in a drawing held at their stores. Attendees can
sample the chili and participate in voting for their favorites.
Tunes Stereo Centers will feature smart phone remote car starter
demonstrations and distribute $10 gift cards for attendees, while
supplies last. The Car Tunes Podfather vehicle with amazing electronic
wizardry will also be onsite.  Kar’s Nuts will also have product samples
