The Clawson Cultural Foundation began last year with its debut event, The Clawson Arts & Authors Festival, which featured over 40 Michigan artisans, and will return this new year on September 8, 2013. More events are in the
works for 2013, including an American Idol-styled music competition for May 19th, welcoming local talent, and with the winners getting a chance to play at The Black Lotus Brewery in Clawson. Proceeds from the concert will go to fund the Foundation.
Matthew Ball, whose playing has garnered him over 2.1 million Youtube views will present his all American and family friendly concert of swingin’ blues, boogie-woogie & ragtime piano music at The Clawson United Methodist Church.
