Kidpreneur Demo Day

As any entrepreneur knows, a large part of the challenge is catching the interest of investors. That is why at Kidpreneur we encourage all of our kids to participate in what we call Demo Day. Think of it as similar to the ABC show "Shark Tank" but with panelists who are nicer, will listen and provide constructive feedback.

For the first time, TechTown – a nonprofit business accelerator in Detroit – will host Kidpreneur's Demo Day. That's one more reason to join us 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22 at 440 Burroughs St. in Detroit.

Demo Day is an amazing opportunity for our 30+ young students to present their businesses and projects to a panel of successful entrepreneurs and members of the media. We want the students to get the recognition they deserve for their accomplishments at Kidpreneur and to make the most of their experience with us by presenting and "graduating" at Demo Day.

Noah Mueller, 11, is one of our students you can look forward to meeting at Demo Day. He said he's excited to show everyone what he's been working on in the Kidpreneur iOS App Development class.

"My app that I would like to develop is sort of a quiz," he said.

Mueller said he hasn't done a presentation like this before and plans to prepare a speech for the big day.

"I'm just hoping to show people what I've learned," he said.

You'll hear from Mueller at Demo Day as well as other 30+ students presenting projects like how they will start an online store, hosting their own Minecraft business and a video game they created. Please join us March 22 and watch these extraordinary kids present. The event is FREE and parking is FREE. Each student will get a certificate of completion and a gift from TechTown. There will be food, baked goods and drinks provided by our major sponsors including Treats by Angelique. Click HERE to RSVP for free. For more information, go to www.Kidpreneur.co.  We really hope to see you!
