Winter Tracking Workshop at Oakwoods Metropark. This program takes you out onto the trail to discover which animals are out and about in the park at this time of year, and helps you identify the animals that are leaving those tracks.

Tadpoles at Oakwoods Metropark. Children, ages 2 to 5, can have fun with Ms. Jennifer, experiencing nature, playing games, making crafts and more. Fee: $4 per child. Preregistration required. For more information or to register, call 734-782-3956.

Tot Time: Head or Tails? at Indian Springs Metropark. Heads and tails come in all shapes and sizes! Find out why this helps with animal survival. Young explorers will experience the art of camouflage. Ages: 3-5 Cost: $5.00 per child. Call 248-625-7280 to register or for more information.

Family Sundays-Chinese New Year Lion Dance at Detroit Institute Of Art. In honor of the 2014 Chinese New Year, the Asian Martial Arts Studio will present a Classical Southern Style Lion Dance performance complemented by gongs, drums and cymbals, followed by a demonstration of various Kung Fu forms.
