Video: Happy One Year Anniversary Clawson Patch!

Editor Nicquel Terry reflects on a year of bringing news to and becoming part of the community.

One mission. One year. One editor.

When I launched Clawson Patch on Oct. 29, 2010, I had one main goal: to make a difference in the community. I wanted to introduce something to this tiny Michigan town that would improve the lives of its residents.

Looking back at the coverage and the increasing number of daily readers as well as Twitter and Facebook friends, I feel as though I have made an impact. Patch provides a daily one-stop shop for news, events, business listings, an open forum and more. The response I get from the community is incredible and I appreciate the engagement, news tips and feedback from residents while I'm out in the community.

If you ever have story ideas, questions or just want to chat about things going on in the community, you can email nicquel.terry@patch.com or call 313-409-3063. You can also "Like" us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter

Thank you Clawson Patch readers. Stay with us. We will continue providing valuable and relevant information to the community.

Here are a few of my favorite/top stories from the past year:
