The Clawson Junior Women's Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and celebrating 45 years of service to the community on April 24, 2013. In 1903 the Improvement Club began with a goal of “improvement in the community" through planting flowers. The group underwent a name change to Clawson Literary Society and another name change in 1920 to the Clawson Woman’s Club. The Woman's Club disbanded but the Junior Women's Club continues with the traditions of sponsoring the 4th of July Kiddie Parade, Santa and Bunny Brunch, supporting the Goodfellows, Lion's Club Car Show, Historical Museum, Blair Memorial Library, Youth Assistance and much more. The City of Clawson expresses our gratitude to the Junior Women's Club for their continued work!
