Celebrating the 4th of July is a signature event in the City of Clawson. The 4th of July committee is responsible for the parade, fair, fireworks, beautiful baby contest, buttons, twin runs, kiddie parade, kiddie games, ice cream social, band concert, coney day and more. This year we have a great need for gate attendants. The committee is looking for two hours of your time on July 4th (a Thursday this year) to volunteer at the gates selling entry tickets. The sales from the gate fees pays for the fireworks. The 4th of July committee meets the second Wednesday of each month with the next meeting on Wednesday, April 10th, 7.30 pm at City Hall. Celebrating Independence Day has been a tradition in Clawson since 1933. Call Don Michels at 248 585 8242 to sign up!
