Clawson Police Report to Home Invasion

The incident happened last week on Wilson Avenue.

Among the highlights of recent Clawson Police reports:

Clawson Police closed an investigation of a home invasion last week on account of a lack of evidence and leads.

Nothing appeared to be stolen, a 51-year-old man on the 300 block of Wilson Avenue told police, after he came home on June 11 at 5:37 p.m. to a noise inside the house.

The man noticed broken blinds and an open window in his house and proceeded to try and find a suspicious person involved by looking around the block, the report said. When the man found nothing, he returned home and took stock of his personal items. Nothing appeared stolen, he told police.

The next day, police said that he filed a report. Police later found his yard trampled on, near the location of the open window, but had to close the investigation when no other leads materialized.
