Clawson Police Say Man Shot at Officer

A Clawson man is accused of calling police to his house, shooting a gun at an officer and barricading himself for two hours.

Scott Allen Currie, 47, was arraigned Monday before Troy 52-4 District Judge Kirsten Nielsen Hartig on attempted murder and other charges, according to a report in The Oakland Press

Patch readers reported the presence of SWAT vehicles near the scene. According to the report in The Oakland Press, the Oakland County Sheriff's SWAT team reported to the scene and took Currie without incident. Calls to Clawson Police were not returned on Monday.
