No one was injured in a garage fire early Sunday morning in the 700 block of South Renshaw, but the blaze destroyed the structure and caused other damage.
Approximately 25 Clawson firefighters responded at 6:33 a.m. to the incident that is "not suspicious at this time and is believed to be an electrical fire of some sort," Chief Rick Dylewski said.
"The garage is a total loss with all of its contents and there was damage to a Honda Odyssey van that was in the driveway," he said.

The fire was so hot that a home across the street suffered "about $2,000 worth of damage to its vinyl siding," Dylewski said.
The fire was "already pretty well involved" when the department was paged, so the firefighters worked to suppress it and brought the fire under control within 15 minutes, Dylewski said. They worked an additional two hours to ensure the fire was completely extinguished.
