Police Blotter: Bike, Medicine, Jewelry and More Stolen in Clawson

The following information was supplied by the Clawson Police Department.

Larcenies

  • A Clawson man told police someone stole his son's bike out of his garage on the 200 block of Batchewana some time before 2 p.m. July 13. The resident said he observed a suspicious man looking around his house and inside the front window before the incident occurred. When he went outside to approach the suspicious man, he was gone. The victim reported that whoever stole the bike left a Detroit Tigers fitted hat in his garage. 
  • A resident told police someone stole pills and several other items from his apartment some time on July 12. The man reported he left his apartment at 8:30 a.m. and returned at 6 p.m. He realized the items were gone when he woke up on July 13. Items stolen include a gold pocket watch, silver pocket watch, blanket, lighter and hearing aid remote. The victim told police all the items were in his night stand drawer except the blanket which was in the bedroom closet. The victim said his apartment was locked when he left. There were no signs of forced entry, the report says.
  • A Royal Oak man told police he believes someone stole a bottle of Aderral from his vehicle when he was parked outside of at about 4:30 p.m. July 12. The man said his car was locked and the windows were down three inches. Nothing else was stolen from the vehicle. 

Car egged

  • A Clawson woman reported someone threw eggs at her son's car some time between midnight-5:30 a.m. Saturday. His car was parked on the 400 block of East Baker.
