Police Blotter: Bike Stolen, $200 Taken From Vehicle

The following information was supplied by the Clawson Police Department.

Following are highlights from recent Clawson Police reports:

Bike stolen from garage

A Clawson woman told police someone stole a bike out of her detached garage some time between 10 p.m. May 18 and 9 a.m. May 19 on the 60 block of Tecumseh. The resident told police she left her Ross 10 Speed Euro Sport Bike in her garage and when she returned, it was gone. No one else had permission to use the bike, a police report says.

Money stolen from vehicle

A Sterling Heights woman told police she believes someone stole a card containing $200 from her 2001 Ford Escape when it was parked outside church Sunday evening.

A police report says the woman realized the card was gone after she left the school and went to Outback Steakhouse around 7 p.m. The woman said she noticed marks on her driver's side window and believes someone jimmied the lock.

The woman told police other people said money was taken from their vehicles at Guardian Angels, too. Police say no one else reported a theft. There were no suspects.
