Police Blotter: Bike Theft, Home Invasion Reported

The following information was supplied by the Clawson Police Department.

A resident on the 200 block of West Elmwood told that someone stole his bike from his backyard sometime between Aug. 11-13.

The resident described the bike as a black stretch beach cruiser, about 7 feet in length, hanger handle bars, a flannel shirt seat cover and hand-stitched grips. There was also an air horn sitting in the water bottle holder, a police report said. 

There are no suspects.

House invasion

A Livonia man reported that someone kicked the front door open at his deceased father's home on the 1400 block of Elmwood and entered the house sometime before noon Sunday. A real estate agent notified him that the front door had been forced open by an unknown person, according to a police report. The Livonia man said it appeared that the intruder exited out the back door because it was also open, the report said.

There were no items reported missing from the home, and there are no suspects.
