Catalytic Converters Stolen from Vehicles at Clawson Manor

The following information was collected from the Clawson Police Department.

Clawson Police are investigating three reports of catalytic converters stolen from cars parked outside the Clawson Manor between Sunday and Tuesday.

A employee told police he discovered the catalytic converter was missing from his car Monday. The victim reviewed the surveillance recording at the location and saw someone back into a parking spot next his 2002 Pontiac Montana about 8:30 a.m. Monday. However, he did not have a view of the person exiting the vehicle.

A 68-year-old resident also reported a stolen catalytic converter from a 2006 Honda Element some time before Monday evening. A 74-year-old resident told police Tuesday that a catalytic converter was missing from her 1997 Cavalier.

There are no suspects, police say.
