2 Clawson Women Named in Ex-Red Wing Darren McCarty's Protection Order

Former hockey star's new bride filed complaint with Royal Oak Police, The Detroit News reports.

Two Clawson women are among the four people former Detroit Red Wings hockey star Darren McCarty and his wife obtained personal protection orders against after they said they have been stalking and harrassing them, according to a Detroit News report.

An Oakland Circuit Judge granted the protection orders against Tonya Juhl, 37, and Kimberley Mitchell, 38, both of Clawson; Anne Marie Samulski, 22, of Royal Oak; and Louis Barbato, 40, of Shelby Township, The News reported.

Sheryl McCarty said she filed a complaint about threats and emails with the in late April.

"We have contacted the people, and it remains under investigation," Royal Oak Police Lt. Thomas Goad told The Detroit News.
