Voters in Clawson chose to pass a millage for public schools Tuesday, with 64 percent voting yes.
Other results: Clawson voters chose Mike Bosnic as County Commissioner and Martin Howrylak as state representative by narrow margins.
Many voters waited in long lines to cast their ballots Tuesday.
Clawson resident Kirk Gibbs was voting this morning and was pleased with the set-up at Schalm Elementary.
"The line was awesome—only 10 minutes long. I was number 183 and it was very easy and using the League of Women's Voters publication where you could read it ahead of time made it a lot easier," Kirk Gibbs said.
His son, Sean, was along to take in the process but his 18th birthday was too late for him to vote in this election. "He missed it by 18 days but that's why he's here today," Kirk Gibbs said.
