Three seats at the board table are up for election in November and the deadline to file your intention to run is Aug. 13 by 4 p.m. at the Clawson City Clerk's office.
The seats of Mayor Penny Luebs (two-year term), and Councilmembers Kathy Phillips and Tom Palmer (each four-year terms) are up for election. More details:
Qualifications
- At least 25 years of age.
- A citizen of the United States and a registered elector of the city.
- A resident of Clawson at least two years, and an owner of real property assessed for taxes in the city, or the lawful wife or husband of such person.

- Non-partisan city nominating petitions containing between 25-50 (no more or less) registered electors of the city.
